Shiv Verma, M.D.

Dr. Verma was born in India and graduated from Gauhati Medical College in India. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo. He did his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and then completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at SUNY Buffalo. After finishing his training there, he moved to Tacoma, Washington where he practiced gastroenterology for two years in Tacoma before he moved to Arizona, where he was appointed Chief of Gastroenterology at the Maricopa County Medical Center. Dr. Verma joined Mesa GI in 2011.

Dr. Verma is married and has a son and a daughter. He and his family enjoy travel, music, and the outdoors.
